We went over a unit test today in class. This was the test that compacting students did not have to take because they had compacted out of the unit. However, I showed the whole class several student examples (minus names) and we discussed what score we would give these ORQ’s and short answer questions. I think it helps the students to see what a good answer looks like and why it was a good answer. Overall, I think the kids are tougher graders than I am and it is really interesting to hear their feedback on what score they would give the essay and why.

Homework: Non-compacting students need to rewrite their short answers to a 2 and their ORQ to a 4 if they did not score this on their essays.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
